*Although we specialize in highly masked women and girls (a much less understood presentation of autism), we also specialize in neurodivergence in clients of all genders, ages, and abilities.
At NCAWAG, we believe in providing excellent clinical care. Unfortunately, health insurance policies direct care of their provider network in order to reduce their costs, and this severely restricts the length and depth of care you may receive. Self-pay services allow for the individualization and time needed for top quality care. Many individuals with health insurance have what is called "out of network mental health benefits," and we will happily provide superbills for your paperwork for you to file for these benefits. We are also working on ways to develop funding mechanisms to support those with financial needs.

Services We Do Not Provide:
Unfortunately, we cannot answer inquiries asking for referrals for services we do not offer. We can provide such information as part of a consultation.
We do not currently offer social skills groups, staff training, or "ABA."
Services We Do Provide:
We ARE currently accepting referrals for:
Psychotherapy for children, teens, and adults
Child JASPER play therapy (ages 1-8)
Educational and Therapy Consultations
Psychological and psychoeducational Evaluations (all ages, genders, and abilities) are available IN-PERSON and VIRTUALLY
Autism Re-evaluations
Groups including processing groups for newly identified individuals and themed groups
Social groups for established clients
BILLING & COSTS

Cost of Services:
Intakes and Consultations: $250/hr.
Therapy: Ranges from $150-$200/hr.
Evaluations: Range from $2000-$5000 total depending on complexity of needs (e.g., higher if ADHD, IQ or academic testing is needed).
Re-evaluations: Start at $1800; price may increase depending on complexity of needs
Additional Payment Information:
There is a $250 deposit to reserve your intake appointment (the first appointment during an evaluation), which is refundable should you cancel one or more week ahead of time.
We are “out of network” for insurance companies and do not accept Medicaid or Medicare. We are happy to help with out of network insurance claims or authorizations, but we do not file on your behalf.
We accept cash, check, and many credit cards.
